Brothers Phil Crawford (on the left) and Dick Crawford (on the right) have been overseeing our family business for the past 40 years, accounting for a significant part of our 120+ year history.

Welcome to A.A. Dority Company, Inc.
Upon graduation from Harvard College in 1898, A.A. (short for Alphonso Augustus) first worked in a law firm. A year later started his insurance agency in downtown Boston, focused on Surety and Fidelity Bonds. We have been a family owned business ever since. A.A. Dority invited his son-in-law, Bert Crawford, into the business in the late 1920's and later turned it over to him. In the 1940's and 1950's, Bert's two sons, Ed and Whit Crawford, joined the company.
Phil & Dick Crawford, two of Whit's sons, each have more then 30 years experience. Jim and Jeff were the 5th generation of the family to enter the business. Katie Connor has worked with us for over 20 years.
